Hip Hop 101 Performed By Visual Symphony Live

Hip Hop 101, LAs First Hip Hop Festival: Visual Symphony was Proud to debut their Audio/ Video mix "HIP HOP HISTORY 101". Sid Z. Producer, and Founder of HH101 together with VJ Victorious, and DJ Sleeper took the Sports area on a THROW BACK in time leading and then handing over the stage to Ludacris who helped close out the night. How fitting to slot rappers Ludacris and Common as headliners for a concert celebrating the multifaceted nature of hip-hop. One raps about hos in different area codes while the other declares, I never call you my bitch or even my boo / Theres so much in a name and so much more in you. Though they may differ in their approach to ladies in song, both are marquee double-threats at this point, appearing nearly as much on screen as on the radio. The two team up, along with Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys, for Hip Hop 101, a concert marking Black History Month that also features a dance competition, Visual Symphony and Audio Video Performance, live graffiti art expos, screenings of old-school hip-hop films, and a light and laser show. Up-and-coming singers Keri Hilson and Janelle Monae also perform. HH101.com
