So narrowing it down to 10 and show casing some videos from them, is hard enough, lol. So I show my graitude and showing respect to the Microphone OG's in the Rap Game, seleted in no type of order! Peace to ALL MC's out there Grindin'-doin there thing!

-BIG DADDY KANE-

The Brooklyn, Juice Crew OG, giving it to you R-A-W since '88, he's been setting the bar high for the MC. King -Asiatic- Nobody's- Equal=KANE, not a reference to cocaine, lol. "Say NO to Drug's but keep KANE in ya system" I've been a fan since the beginning to this MICrophone Giant! From giving you famous Hip-Hop Quotables, from cameo appreances in blockbuster movies, to wild photo shoots with Madonna & Namoni Campbell! KANE is definitely the smooth operator. This Hip-Hop ladies man and TRUE MC Rap Capitan has always been holding it down. I once heard he did a collabo with Barry White on a remix to "All of Me". From The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Black Thought and Jay-Z.. and so many other Hip-Hop icons have been influenced from Big Daddy Kane. Salue to the OG! Thank you for being so Damn RAW!

This MC right here is Waaaaaaayy Before His Time with the rhyme. A elite underground killer MC,He is known for his complex lyrics, complex delivery, and internal and multisyllabicrhyme schemes. He sings with a vocal delivery that's inspired by Jazz Great: John Coltrane! He keeps you wanting more and more! From working with Mos Def, Nate Dogg, and released many solo project's.. Pharoahe is the MC's, emcee! A Real MC Pedagree!

-Aceyalone-

L.A.'s Finest-Project Blowed collective- REAL MC reppin from The West Coast! When I first heard and saw the video "MIC Check" on Rap City, I was blown away! He's Sick Wit it, indeed. I got hip to the Project Blowed movement and what they were doin' over at The Good Life back in the 90's. Freestyle Fellowship, Innercity Griot's.. 1 of my Fav. LP's. Aceyalone is best known for his role in evolving left-field hip-hop on the West Coast at a time when the West Coast was dominated by Gangsta Rap. Aceyalone has been noted particularly for his innovative lyrical style and content. Some attribute the double-time rap styles that emerged in the mid-1990s to Aceyalone and the Freestyle Fellowship, although this is disputed by others.

-Kool Keith-

One of The Hero's of The Weirdo's of Hip-Hop, who have created a ILL Flow, within Hip-Hop! He's been giving you critictal beat downs' with The Ultra Mag Posse since 1988. Kool Keith's lyrics are often abstract, surreal, and filled with non-sequiturs and juvenile humor. Keith is also known for an explicit style focusing on sexual themes. He has various stage personalities, from: Dr. Dooom, Black Elvis and my fav. Dr. Octagon! The release of Dr. Octagonecologyst around 1996 is a classic. The album's production by Dan the Automator and Kutmasta Kurt, with scratching by DJ Qbert was acclaimed by Hip-Hop critics. Salute to Mr. Kool Keith!

Remember HIM, the one your took your idea from? The Microphone fien from Long Island, is The Greatest! When I heard Paid in Full, with him and Eric B rockin together. I fell in love with that Hip-Hop Boom Bap forumla- which contains gritty, heavy, and dark beats. It's noted that Rakim did a lot of co-production for many of their project's. Rakim was one of the first to demonstrate advantages of a writerly style, as with for instance his pioneering use of internal rhymes and multisyllabic rhymes. Rakim's subject matter often covered his own rapping skills and lyrical superiority over other rappers. He took a methodical approach to his microphone fiending. He had a slow flow, and every line was blunt, mesmeric. GOD Bless The -R-

I know he changed his name to Yasiin Bey, but he'll always be MOS to Me. I first heard him on his Rawkus single, back in 1997 "Universal Magnetic", I love that B-Boy, fresh voice deliver he brought to the game. He's been dropping DOPE Hip-Hop ever since! With collabo's with The Bush Babees, De La Soul, and the Epic Trio- Blackstar-, with Talib Kweli and DJ Hi-Tek, Mighty MOS has been heavy at it,. From Rapping to acting, he's steady trailblazing the game! He is one of the most promising rappers to emerge in the late 1990s, as well as one of hip-hop's brightest hopes entering the 21st century.
