Gil Scott Herion once said, 'The Revolution will not be televised" So I guess the wack shit will be televised in today's watered down, Rap industry!. Turn on your T.V., tune into your local radio station's, you'll see and listen to the wackness our culture is facing.Today’s rap scene seems to be overrun with the same content and lacks substance. I get flustered by the realization that the more substance and talent you have put into your work the less chance you have to getting discovered. It looks like what is being discovered nowadays, is a lot of wack nonsense, that make's my ears tense. A lot of Yung Rich Wack rapper's swimming in the ces pool of wack juice! (Yung Gleese, Yung Thug, Rich Boy Kwon) They lack respect, skills and knowledge of the history. I totally understand, rappers are hood reporters, they rap and report of things they live or witness in their environment, from drugs, poverty and gang's. But after you did your dirt, and the dust settles and you've popped all the bottles in the club, you've ran threw every woman in the hood, you killed every hater off on your block...... then what?? With all these 'Gun BARS' and references of being the illest & realest, you'd think they been shot more then 50 cent! The real Gz, who are really about that life, usually get sent up state for a state bid or even worse, DEATH. When your locked down, hopefully some find it within them to rebuild and redeem themselves for the betterment, (if some have the opition to). In other fashions others will continue to be trapped in their own ignorant bliss. Even the OG's try and help the youngbucks to detour themselves from the bullshit. I guess some really don't care or take heed to the knowledge that the elders drop on them. These people glamorize non-sense, walking around with their home boy's confidence. Thinking they some type of Ghetto Superstar with no creditals. We as a people and Hip-Hop Authentics need to STOP MAKING THESE WACK RAPPERS FAMOUS!

We are becoming a 'Dumbed Down, Hip-Hop Society' The term of a "Dumbed Down Society" is in no way intended to insult or demean the citizens of this planet, but is intended rather, as a call for a fast awakening and to point out a truth - a truth so insidious and real -- which is that we have been deliberately veiled, weakened, and propagandized -- that we only see and believe a "Truth" which has been carefully crafted for us by a group of people that are undeniable in power over the masses of society -- the "Powers That Be." Corperations are now trying to control the culture. They just like all the 'biters' they take a bite from the culture and leave the rest. Hip-Hop as a culture, rose up from the rubble from the crack epidemic and the street gang's who ruled the streets of the South Bronx in the late 70's. Those leaders of those gangs met up and decided, enough was enough, they were tired of the killing, and the self destuction that was plaguing the neighborhood at that time. It was time to use our mind power, and unite people from the inner city, with a different median through art for change. They turned a negative into a positive.

How do you feel about your media manipulation? A controlled propaganda machine which decides what you eat, what you wear, who you vote for, who is good, who is bad, and what is important for you to know. How often do you see Paris Hilton or Britney Spears on the news? This takes place over real news like how the banks are mobilizing to control nations worldwide, and how new laws are continuously being made that are choking us out of our basic human rights outlined in the constitution. This is all premeditated propaganda created to keep us misdirected. This concept also applies to the state of Rap!

Where do we go from here? Do you know how many people who listen to Rap music, who have no idea, or simply don't care about the origins of this art form. They just love the beats and the mundane lyric's that they deliver. If we don't teach Hip-Hop history, Hip-Hop will be history, sooner or later!

It's like feeding candy to a baby, there is NO good nutrients in that. So eventually, they will get sick, stop growing, they become weak form lack of goodness getting to their body & mind. The more you feed them that bullshit, the baby is going to think, that's the only type of food you can enjoy or have accessable to you, because they been fed that posion their whole life. This story explains exactly whats happening within the music industry as a whole. It's time to WAKE UP!! Hip-Hoppa's!! It's Time to STOP giving these Candy ass rappers any of our attention in thinking they can bring some goodness into your ears. This fast food rap is mos definitely bad for our health. It's time to bring the consciousness back into RAP. We need to start smacking wack rappers' with some knowledge and understanding, have them slow their role.

What you say with your words can lead you to life or death. So lets refresh this Rap world with some Life changing music, Hip-Hop heals and changes lives all around the world, it's been proven! We as Hip-Hop advocates need to continue to fight for Hip-Hop to be a musical element within the school system, pass down the history our Hip-Hop fore fathers have paved for us. Carry on tradition of peace, love, unity, and having fun. We must start telling the youth it's okay to be yourself, it's okay to be original, not everyone is a gangster, and it's always a each one teach one affect. Exchanging different energies and expressions with each other, cause we all understand the groove and we have nothing to prove.

Everything has it's place, I get it, music is mood. Sometimes, I'm cool out and chill, other times I'm wild and angry. With the out pour of emotions displayed through rap music, we as the artist have the power of choice on what we give to the masses. A lot are culture vultures, they dive in for the meal and bounce out! We have to make wiser choices in the art we make. I'll be damn to come to a state of Hip-Hop where people know who Iggy Azalea is , but have know idea of who Rakim is??!!! I guess Gil Scott Herion was right!. 'The Revolution will not be televised" cause The Real Heads, activists, teachers, advocates for the Hip-Hop culture are steady grindin', formulating the ninja moves to take back the Music and our culture! Calling ALL Generals of This Rap Game, Called to Duty! Time to take this Rap Back!! SALUTE!!!!! Awwwwwwhooooo! #RadioBums #LOF #RTDK #SHUNZ #TBB #RuffYinz
