#ThatOneTime DJ Maseo from De La Soul, put DJ Chonz and myself on a De La Soul Mixtape in London,UK!

Me and this dude go back to 1995, I got a lot of Love for him and his family! He was the first DJ who believed in me, and my talents. He pushed me to always become better. We'd go out and rock many club nights together, and stay up many endless nights and making mix tapes, event planning etc. He has featured on many of my songs and has done many cut hooks for me. He is a master of the mix, a huge staple in the Hip-Hop community. He has put many of US on in the game in Denver. He's a legend on the Radio, and a major game changer in the city! A TRUE Skool B-Boy who reps Radio Bums, Lordz of Finesse Hip-Hop Crew! He's trailblazer in his own regards, even having University of CU Denver even putting a scholarship program in his name. He's a husband and father of two beauiful little ladies. My boy has been in grind mode for decades! Back in 1996, CHONZ caught the attention from De La Soul's own, DJ Maseo, while soundchecking at a show in Boulder. Maseo, was diggin on what young Chonz was bringing to the table, they exchanged number's and the rest is history. They have been like brother's ever since, learning and gaining knowledge from the OG, Maseo even bought CHONZ the obscure records at that time! The Radio Bums 2 Mix Tape '96 was all record's Maseo got Chonz. In 2006 DJ Maseo was asked from MixMag in England to conduct a FREE MIX for their Fall issue, and we both were pleasantly surprised seeing this at our local Barns and Noble. I would have never been involved with this project if it wasn't because my boy supported my music, Thank you brother Chonz!
