Angel Diaz Aka. Batch is a bboy pioneer. In 1974 he along with Cash and Shark created The Bronx Boys. They were initially a writing crew (grafitti.) In 1975 Batch added Rocking Crew so it became The Bronx Boys Rocking Crew. Many TBB members are credited with creating moves that are still used today. Batch is the creator of the 3-step. The 3-step is one of the moves that comprise b-boy footwork and is considered FOUNDATION. In 1979, when Batch broke up the crew. Jimmy Lee and Jimmy Dee of the Burnside division changed the name of their division into Rock Steady. I'm Very blessed and grateful to rep such a enriched and legendary crew from the Bronx, -TBB- established '75, Bigg-up's to my big brother Fienz who introduced me to TRAC2 and Aby, for puttin me down in the Denver Chapter of TBB! I've gain a lot of wisdom and knowledge from everyone in TBB, and hyped to be apart of the family! Looking forward to the aniversary in Oct. Check out a little history of the crew!

TBB ROCKING CREW IS ALL OVER THE GLOBE. WE ARE BBOYS/BGIRLS , GRAFFITI WRITERS , EMCEES , DEEJAYS , EDUCATORS , ACTIVIST, STUDENTS , PARENTS , and soo much more. We represent our HIP HOP Roots and we are primarily focused today as a Rocking Crew so much of what you see , hear and know about us will be related to HIP HOP dance which has taken its course of change over the past 40 years and we are proud to still be here and to be a part of the history. TBB/TBG WAS FORMED IN 1975 IN THE BRONX , NYC - THE CREW WAS ONE OF THE TOP PREMIER HIP HOP CREWS IN THE EARLY DAYS OF HIP HOP BEFORE IT WAS EVEN CALLED HIP HOP AND WHEN THE MOVEMENT WAS ABOUT THE DJ AND PARTY ATMOSPHERE AMONG SO MUCH MORE TO SAY THE LEAST. Back in those days the average Hip Hop head was in a neighborhood with street families that formed much of the crews in HIP HOP to come, also much of the original Bboys , Writers , Deejays and Emcees were in these street families or were stick up kids and troubled youth. HIP HOP and crews like TBB came after the time of the civil rights movement and other human rights movements, The Black Panthers , The Young Lords , Nation Of Gods and Earths the Black exploitation films, the Martial Arts craze (The Bruce Lee era) and much more things that would heavily influence the evolution of HIP HOP for many years to come.....

I COULD START NAMING ALL THESE REMARKABLE LOST TBB HEROES, THESE AMAZING CONCRETE SOLDIERS, BUT I RATHER SAVE MY SPEECH FOR THEM FOR ANOTHER BETTER APPROPRIATED TIME AND PLACE. FOR MANY YEARS I BELIEVED ALL THIS AND AS A RESULT I UNFORTUNATELY GOT CAUGHT UP IN WHAT BE CAME TO BE,"THE RECIDIVISM PROCESS"... AND WHEN EVER I WOULD GET MY SELF A JOB TO HELP MYSELF TO CHANGE MY LIFE AROUND, THEY WOULD FIRE ME WHEN THEY WOULD FIND OUT THAT I WAS IN PRISON IN THE PAST AND HAD A FELONY.. I REALIZED IN AN EARLY AGE, THAT, ONCE YOU MADE ONE MISTAKE, ONE WRONG CHOICE, SOCIETY WOULDN'T EVER LET YOU FOR GET IT... IT IS YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE THAT HAVE GIVEN ME STRENGTH AND INSPIRATIONAL MOTIVATION TO BELIEVE IN MYSELF.. IT WAS YOU LOVING PEOPLE THAT HELPED ME GET OUT OF PRISON AFTER 20 YEARS STRAIGHT IN A CAGE... YOUR SUPPORT LETTERS EVEN TOUCHED THE COLD HEARTS OF SOME OF THE PAROLE COMMISSIONERS AT MY HEARING... IT IS YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE THAT HAVE MOTIVATED ME AND THAT NOW HAS ME APPRECIATING MYSELF AND MY FREEDOM MORE THEN ANY OTHER TIME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE..
