I found out a couple days ago, a good friend of mine passed away! Natasha/Light AKA It's Real Light' was an amazing older sister, aunt and friend of mine. I had the opportunity to meet her many years ago.We connected through the gooves and rhymes from our soul. My cousin woody met her first and was so excited for Us to meet up. He was able to capture the moment with his video camera. Take a look at Poetry in action in that moment in time when her Light, met Mine. We created a song right off the top of our brains, it was so natural for her to sit, kick wisdom and entertain. She was a dynamic performer and over all loving person. A Brooklyn representer, a Hip-Hop purist and amazing poet and MC. A master in the kitchen, I could still hear her telling me about a organic recipe she mad up.. She was a solider, who never complained, with a smile so Big, some of US didn't know what she was battling. You got me missin you, like Old Skool, Light! She passed in Colorado Springs after a battle with Lupus. All your family, friends, loved ones will be missing you, you are forever embedded in our hearts thank you for being here to share your Art with US all. Shine your Light in Heaven now mama, until we meet again! Her family would like to bring her back to NY to lay her to rest with her Grandmother.
