If you are a Hip-Hop advocate of the culture and the art's, then I hope you know who Funk Master Flex is!! A Longtime Hip-Hop DJ from NYC, spinning oh HOT 97 NYC Radio Station for decades. In 1992, he became host of the first hip hop radio show in New York, on Hot 97, which was a pop radio station at the time. By the mid-1990s, Flex was signed by a major record label, Loud Records, for a series of mixtapes entitled '60 Minutes of Funk'. All four were certified gold by theRIAA in the US. I wasn't the biggest Funk Flex fan. I was more into Mister Cee,Red Alert, Doo Wop, Ron C, DJ Spinbad, Tony Touch during those NYC Mix tape days. When the first one dropped in '95, tho '60 mins of Funk was My ish!! Everyone was bumpin it! In 1995 he formed The Flip Squad along with seven of New York City's most respected disc jockeys, including Biz Markie, "BounceMasta" Doo Wop, Big Kap, DJ Enuff, Mister Cee, Frankie Cutlass, DJ Riz, Cipha Sounds and Mark Ronson. Funk Flex most def contributed to the art. This is a Hip-Hop Classic mixtape! From Beginning to the end, its straight butta, don't need to press fastword, just cool out and listen, as we go down Hip-Hop Memory Lane, one time with FunkMaster Flex!
