About

This hip-hop animated show and music group features the Sure Shot crew connecting with hip-hop and R&B celebs on their way to the top of the music game.

Description

The Ground Breaking hip-hop animated characters (EL-K Lover, Chicago, DJ Cash, Slice, Deja, Gizelle, TIny and Tata). They been settin’ off underground spots and spitting the craziest lyrics on the hottest mix tapes (DJ Clue, Dj Enuff, DJ MR.Cee, Dj Kay Slay, Dj Camilo, Pro Style, Tony Touch and others). But this year they come out of the shadows and show the world what they’re made of. Move over Young Money, there is a new crew on the set. Who cares if they’re animated!

Plot Outline:

El-K, Chicago, Deja and the rest of the Sure Shot crew have been trying to break down the doors of the entertainment business with little success to say the least. But one day El-K gets his big break in the music biz, as head of the mailroom for MTV. Or as El-K the media mogul would put it “VP of Entertainment for MTV”. He calls a meeting with the crew and lets them know “it’s on!” El-k goes to explain with this new job, come the new perks. “The May Bach, The private jet, the VIP room, the red carpet, the groupies, the platinum cooperate card, and vacationing in the Paris.” They crew looks in disbelief. He replies, “Did I mention the Groupies.” He continues telling them that he can get any artist to be on any of their remixes. The only one seems excited is Slice, who has dollar signs in his eyes. He finally feels we could get a real sponsor for the group, even though the Lucky Dragon Chinese take-out on 137th & Broadway is nothing to sneeze at. Chicago and Deja (the voice of the people) speaks up for the crew and let’s El-K know he’s been selling us the same old tired dream for the last five years. But every time we get close to the brass ring El-K screws it up. Like the time you where Damon Dash’s personal assistant @ Roc-A-Fella Records and we were about to get signed but you just had to go an remix your own version of the single “Street’s is Watching” off of Jay-Z’s “My Life Time Vol 1” and then if that wasn’t bad enough. You leaked it on Flex’s radio show. El-K responds with telling them, “I told you we get mad radio play”. And if that wasn’t bad enough, The Sure Shot crew is tired of dealing with El-k boys. They call themselves The Eighty Fivers, an old school crew that still lives in the 80’s. They wear 80’s clothes, they talk in 80’s slang. They eat, drink, and rock music from the 80’s. They even drive 80’s whips. And of course the still rhyme 80’s style! Just when things are looking up for the Sure Shot crew and just maybe this could be there big break, the 85ivers show up and throw a monkey wrench in their plains. So finally the SS crew tells them how wack they really are and battle them in a B-boy battle. The battle consists of dance moves and busting on their opponents. The winner will own the turf and the losers have to walk, even though they are EL-K’s boys. What the future brings for the Sure Shot Crew we will see in the upcoming session. So stay tuned to be shocked, and laugh busting a gut while the animated characters bust a move. “It’s The Sure Shot!”
